About Dr. Jones
Timothy Jones, DO, is an obstetrician and gynecologist at Fort Worth Obstetrics & Gynecology. He is dedicated to providing high-quality women’s health care to those living in Fort Worth, Texas.
Dr. Jones is licensed and board-eligible as an OB/GYN. He received his undergraduate degrees in chemistry and biochemistry from Abilene Christian University in Texas. He went on to earn his medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center-Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, Texas. Afterward, he completed his residency at University Medical Center, affiliated with Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, in Lubbock, Texas. In addition, Dr. Jones served eight years in the Field Artillery for the Texas Army National Guard.
Dr. Jones enjoys practicing medicine because of the relationships he gets to form with his patients and the ability to be involved in someone's 'best day ever.' Dr. Jones has been in private practice for four years in southwest Fort Worth at Harris Southwest and Baylor Southwest. He also has a physician partnership at Texas Health Care.
Outside of work, Dr. Jones likes to cook and spend time with his family.
