About Dr. English
Cynthia English, DO, FACOG, is a board-certified OB/GYN at Fort Worth Obstetrics & Gynecology in Fort Worth, Texas.
She completed medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center-Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine and her residency at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Amarillo.
Dr. English considers her ability to care for women both her calling and an enormous blessing. As a wife and mother of two, she understands the physical and emotional challenges of women and knows how to help them maintain health and awareness. She uses empowerment through education so her patients are not just patients but also partners in their health care decisions.
Dr. English particularly wants to ensure that women have access to the most advanced and up-to-date services. This allows for competent care as well as a wider range of treatment options. One of her passions is ensuring early prenatal care in every pregnancy. Dr. English’s partnership approach assures the best care for both mother and unborn child from the very beginning.
An advocate for her patients who is compassionate about their care, Dr. English received the Patients Choice Award for excellence for nine years running. She has also been named a “Top Doctor” by Fort Worth Magazine from 2010-2021 and Texas Monthly Super Doctor for 2015, 2019-2021.
When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. English loves spending time with her children and family.
