About Dr. Gehlot
Ashita Gehlot, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified OB/GYN at Fort Worth Obstetrics & Gynecology in Fort Worth, Texas. She is dedicated to educating and empowering her patients and their families to make well-informed decisions.
She knows the experience of seeing an OB/GYN can be overwhelming, and she strives to alleviate those fears. Dr. Gehlot believes in creating an environment that is comfortable, open, and inviting. She practices family-centered care with cooperative decision-making. When working with a patient, it is important to take their whole health into consideration. It is a woman's body and her decisions, and Dr. Gehlot sees herself as just the cheerleader.
An experienced physician, Dr. Gehlot feels it is her privilege to usher women through different stages of their lives and respond to their evolving needs. She provides normal and high-risk obstetrical care, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, well-woman health visits, preconception counseling, and much more. She offers early morning appointment options for convenience.
Dr. Gehlot received her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta and completed her internship and residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. She has been in practice since 2015, most recently in Ohio before moving to Fort Worth.
When she is not caring for her patients, Dr. Gehlot and her husband enjoy exploring Fort Worth and getting to know their new hometown. She is very excited to become a part of the Cowtown community.
